Can you imagine all people speaking the same language? As the world is becoming "global village", better communication is needed. Would one common language help us to understand each other better?
First of all difference of language cause problems in many areas of life. those may be for instance: misunderstanding of law or other formal regulation, but also everyday difficulties in communication with foreigners. One language could make it easier.
On the other hand, it is not just language difference, but, what is more important, variety of culture. Every nation has other historical background, religion beliefs. One international language would lead to destruction of those differences . What is more those differences are the main cause of problem with understanding.
Furthermore, it would be difficult to chose which language should be internationally used. Should it be the one, which most people speak, or should we create a new one?
All things considered, in my opinion there is no need to have one international language. The variety all over the world is fascinating. To end with that learning new languages is a great pleasure.
